My White Sox Season (Update #4)

Hey guys it's me again here with another update from my Sox season. Last night i finished the 3 game set with the Tigers. It was a great series to play. I took 2 out 3 with them. I now have a 1 game lead over them for first place. On to the game updates.

Peavy was on the mound for me today and i was feeling pretty good about this game. He had one bad inning out the day and that was in the first inning. He gave up 3 ER. Austin Jackson lead the game off with a triple, it was all down hill from there. Peavy pitched 5 innings, 7 hits, 4 ER, and had 5 SO. De Aza had a solid game. 1-4 with 2 runs scored and 3 stolen bases. Konerko and Youkilis had out only RBI on the day.

Quintana was pitching for us the second game. He pitched a great game for us. He wouldn't get the win as the game would for 10 innings. He pitched 7 innings, 3 hits, 2 runs 1 ER, and he had 7 SO. Septimo got the win for us. He would go on to pitch 3 innings giving up 1 hit, 0 ER, and had 3 SO. Konerko and Youkilis would once again be the only ones that had RBI in our 3-2 win. Konerko hit a 2 run Bomb in the bottom of the first and Youkilis with the game winning RBI single in the 10th. De Aza would steal another base this game.

Liriano would be the last pitcher for us this series and he pitched good like the other 2 starters. we won the game 5-2. Liriano would pitch 6 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, and had 7 SO. Nate Jones would pitch 3 innings out of the bullpen getting the save. De Aza would hit 2 doubles and steal another base this series. Konerko hit another homer adding his total on the year to 7. De Aza was a huge factor in this series getting on base and stealing us bases. Or he was hitting doubles for us.

Overall i am really happy with the way my team is playing so far. I think we have enough to make a push for the WS this year. But crazy things have happend before so we will see. I have a 4 game set against the Baltimore Orioles. Look for the next update tomorrow. See you then.
